For the most part, all that I print with is Sunlu PLA+ 2.0. I have a bunch of these spools and they don't properly tighten into Fryby's V Spooler. I tried printing out some other peoples Sunlu Adapters but none of them work with the 2.0 spools, just the original PLA+ spools.
Sunlu PLA+ 2.0 has a smaller diameter center hole than their original causing none of the adapters to actually slide through. This design solves that problem!
I have also made them to resemble a gear to fit the design aspect of the V Spooler! It also serves as a spot to grip onto when tightening the spool on because the hole in this adapter needs to line up with the hole in the spool for your filament to stick into.
After you have re-spooled your spool, it is a little tricky to get the spool off of the adapter. The best way i have been able to is cut the little bit of filament that sticks through the hole and it slides out after that. If anyone has any better ideas for this please let me know and I'll see what I can do to incorporate it!
As always, please leave your comments and suggestions! I love to see the makes of my models so upload some photos too! Thanks!!
