This mod adds the A1 wiper to the P1P/P1S!!!

This wiper cover is one of the best designs to stop all the filament from going every ware it shouldn't. The bigger more readily available A1 silicone wiper strips can be found on Amazon here:  Amazon.com: Imdinnogo 3D Printer Accessories BambuLab A1 Nozzle Brush Replacement Kit(3Pcs): Hotbed Mounted Silicone Wiper Cleaning-Tool, Not Compatible with A1 Mini : Industrial & Scientific

HOW TO INSTALL:

  1. Print the part using the .3fm file if you want to print with ASA/NYLON and PETG as the color.

     2. Cut a 3x3 square and super glue the silicone pad in place (let sit for 3hr).

     3. Place the wiper/cover into the shoot area and press down into place. Push firmly down              on the two front corners, the rear corners float in place and are supported by the rest of              the structure.

HOW TO USE THE .3mf file(s) for the AMS with two dissimilar filament at the same time :

Load the .3mf file into Orca Slicer.

The file is set to use ASA/NYLON as the main filament & PETG as the color filament for the Bambu Logo. (you can change the color to what ever you need)

Place your roll of ASA/NYLON in bay 1 with the K factor set to (ASA 0.015 or NYLON 0.020). Choose basic PETG as the filament type.

Place your roll of PETG in bay 2 with the K factor set to 0.030. Choose basic PETG as the filament type

Hit Print!

Model origin

The author remixed this model.

Differences of the remix compared to the original

This remix addressed and or changed the following:

1. the issue with custom bed plates colliding with the Nozzle wiper

2. created a mounting pad for the wiper with four walls of support

3. adjusted the entire bracket/cover to have a tighter fit in the shoot

4. adjusted the mounting height of the silicone pad for the P1P, matching the roller height

5. omitted the bottle neck catch (filament was getting stuck at times)

6. turned the logo right-side up (Logo was upside down)

7. leveled out the top surface for a more even consistent look
