This part should be printed with Nylon, PETG, or other similarly tough materials (I do not recommend more brittle materials such as PLA or even ABS. This part is to be bonded to the side of the printer using 3M VHB tape.
VHB tape is extremely strong, and can easily handle this task - but proper bond surface preparation is critical to a reliable bond.
Layout:
Measure 40mm up from the bottom of the printer and draw a line in the 40cm area between the panels (see photo). Hold the glass holder bottom piece up and trace the perimeter - this will be important for bond prepping.
The location of the upper clips can be easily derived from the glass lid itself by placing the glass lid in the bottom holder after it is installed.
Bond Prep Procedure:
Bond prep should be performed within 8 hours of bonding - do not bond prep the day before installation.
Use a Red scotchbrite pad, or similar fine-grit abrasive to lightly abrade the bond area, both on the printer and on the 3d printed part.
Wipe the abraded area with an Isopropyl alcohol soaked cloth. Alcohol percentage should be >90% - lower percentages will leave a residue that will reduce the bond strength of the tape.
Allow alcohol to fully evaporate before installing the tape.
VHB Tape:

You can use a wider tape and cut it down if necessary, but make sure the tape thickness is no less than 1.1mm, as this could result in the tape not being compressed enough during bonding (there is a 0.5mm recess in the back of the mounts to allow them to end up pretty flush to the printer after bonding)
