Colt SAA Revolver Miniature

Miniature of a Colt SAA Revolver (Storekeeper or Sheriff model) with classic octagon barrel. 

• Prints as 6 different parts that are press-fit together.
• Simplified model: The hammer is fixed and no loading gate. Trigger moves but does nothing. Cylinder is free spinning and fidget friendly.
• Alternatives with or without loop for attaching to lanyard or key-chain.

Printing Tips

• Model is optimized for easy printing without supports.
• Bed adhesion can be a challenge given how small the parts are. I printed without any brim but had to clean the bed with dish soap first.
• Models are already in recommended print orientation.
• Print the parts in different colors for a more interesting look.
• 0.15mm layer height recommended.

Assembly

• Insert the trigger from inside the frame. It can be a bit tight, just press it in all the way.
• The “frame insert” part comes next. Get it in and press firmly in place.
• Cylinder and base pin: align and press in the pin.
• Grip side covers: snip apart and press in place.
