When folding the Croozer bike trailer, the wheels can be laid in the (folded) trailer to save space. With that, I am always afraid that during transport of the folded trailer, sooner or later the shafts will pierce the fabric or damage something else.
Does it make sense? Maybe I'm exaggerating / overthinking it, anyway....
The caps fit loosely over the shaft and lock as like the wheels on the trailer itself to prevent them from falling off.
The author remixed this model.
