Replacement nose pad for discontinued model of tactical goggles, cannot be bought anymore (even the manufacturer doesn't produce replacement parts)
- Printed from TPU on low speed, with ultra high quality settings
- If you need both left and right, just mirror the model in the slicer along the X axis.
- When printing both, I highly recommend to set Print sequence to “By object” to avoid stringing between the parts.
- Print standing on the bottom part with the holes, no supports needed, only outer brim recommended.
- Dry your TPU before print.
Print with 0.4 mm Nozzle:
- 0.08 mm Layer height
- Only 1-2 walls
- 15% Gyroid infill
- Snug fit - doesn't need glue
Experimental (not recommended as default) Print with 0.2 mm Nozzle:
- 0.06 mm Layer height
- Speed only 10 (Initial layer) - 20 mm/s (Other layers) + slow down for overhangs to half
- travel speed 80 mm/s
- Outer Brim with 0.2mm gap
- Print sequence By object (when printing 2 pieces)
- 3-4 Wall loops
- 5 Top and Bottom shell layers
- 0% infill
- 5% up Flow ratio
- Nozzle temperature 205 C (210 C for first layer)
- Bed temperature 55 C (60 C for first layer)
- Fan speed 30 - 60 %
- Retraction speed 20 mm/s
- Retraction length 0.8 mm
- Z-hop 0 mm
- Would probably need a drop of glue to stay safely attached
⚠ This setting is tested with SUNLU TPU 95A, if you use any other, some settings may need adjustment.
