Designed after seeing something similar online for almost $30 made from about $1 of material.

Now you can print something similar for the cost of a few cents that may help a loved one.

I've made two models one with 8mm pins and one with 6mm pins.

I've printed and tested only the 8mm pin version and gave it a good thrashing. It takes a fair bit of effort to snap a pin and the handle held up fine.

I've allowed for 0.4 mm clearance on the pins, you may find that the pins are too lose, if so simply scale the pins up a fraction until you get a fit you like. They should be loose enough to slide freely when conforming to a shape, but tight enough they don't fall out when tipped upside down.

I printed with 5 walls to get the best strength of of the pins in PLA. But you could use other material to get better strength if required. The pins should snap before the handle gives out, so print spares if needed.

Simple print, no supports required.
