ImpulseRC APEX EVO side plates for DJI O4 Pro camera mounting

Struggling to mount the new DJI O4 Pro camera on your ImpulseRC APEX EVO? Try these custom side plates to solve the compatibility issue. Based on the original CNC aluminum plates,  these designs also include soft mounting for vibration isolation at a fixed 30 degree angle.

Design features:

1. Fixed 30° camera angle: Designed specifically for a 30° fixed camera angle, ideal for most FPV setups.
2. Side plate material: Best printed in PA6-CF for ultimate strength, but TPU works as well.
3. TPU insert: Provides soft mounting for the camera to minimize vibrations.
4. Mounting options:
   • M3 inserts version: Designed to hold heat-set M3 inserts for a secure and durable mount (1x M3x3mm insert and 2x M3x4mm inserts needed).
   • M3 bolt version: Designed for use with M3 bolts directly for simplicity.
5. Side plates: The plates are sided, with a recess on the inside to securely fit the skirt of the TPU insert.

  • Recommended material: PA6-CF (carbon-fiber nylon) for strength and durability.
  • Alternative: TPU for flexibility.
  • Infill: 100%
