Description

PDF

These are small signs you can stick in the ground to indicate the type and variety of plant. They are parametric FreeCAD files with a spreadsheet where you can change the text to indicate the variety. FreeCAD does not have a built in font, and I created these on Linux. If you are running FreeCAD on Window or Mac, you will have to change the font file for the text to render.
There is a photo here to show where the font is selected. Simply expand the model tree down to the shapestrings and change the font path in the data window below. It's best to use a blocky font like Sans Serif. Once you've changed the font, simply resave the file and you're good to go. After setting the text in the spreadsheet, click on the final fusion in the model tree and go to the file menu to export a printable STL file.
