Spindral - The Flexi, Print in Place Phone Stand Guy

My goal was to make a creepy flexi guy with extra-long limbs. Then I discovered that he could hold my phone. So, after a few tweaks, I was able to make him geared more towards a phone stand.

There is also a couple other version with ball joints. These are strictly experimental. The tolerances are very tight, as I was trying to maintain friction. They need to completely cool down and wiggle back and forth to break the joint loose, but it is 100% doable. I printed them but went back and focused on the phone stand aspect.

There are many different poses you can strike to utilize the phone stand.

There are 2 models the tighter one and the looser

• The looser model has very loose (flexi-like) joints.
• The tighter model has a little bit more friction but still allows the joints to be printed without them fusing together.

There are test files to make sure you can print the joints beforehand.

The bands are totally not necessary, strictly just for aesthetics.
