Waveshare 1.5inch RGB OLED Display Case ESP32

A case for the Waveshare 1.5" Multicolor OLED display (Amazon DE Link). The tray should be able to take a normal “nodemcu” ESP32 dev kit C (Amazon DE Link), with feet for mounting it with screws. The Oled display screws into the front (both with heat-set inserts), then the whole tray slides into the case, and the back panel covers everything.

Print settings:

Shell: Front face on the buildplate (for a nice finish)

Tray: Mounting plate facing down, less supports needed

Back: Back side down

All parts can be printed in 0.2mm or 0.3mm resolution, 0.3 works fine, might need some trimming with a razor blade in the corners, depending on your print settings, since all parts are friction fit. If the tray is too long to close the case fully (as seen in the second picture), trimming some plastic off the back of the tray will fix that. How much depends on the length of your screw heads. The display is supposed to mount with the hex standoffs that come with the display. I pushed them into the plastic with a soldering iron (imagine them like cheap heat-set inserts), but with the right settings, they can probably also just be pushed in.
