PDF

This is a collection of 3D-printable parts that can be added to a LumenPNP v3 pick-and-place machine to allow the use of Mark Maker's (makrzone) ReferencePushPullFeeder feeder. I've had very good success with these feeders and I really appreciate the obvious effort he put into their design for use by the community.

NOTE: I have included .STL versions of Mark's feeders that I exported from his OpenSCAD models and tweaked slightly to work with my LumenPNP. These are purely for your convenience and I make no guarantees they'll work with your printer. All rights, trademarks, copyrights and everything else is owned by Mark and I strongly suggest you check out his design here:

Print Settings

Use your best judgment on what you think will give the best results depending on the part, but generally speaking, I used the following settings:

  • Printer: Prusa Mini+ and Prusa MK3.5
  • Print Settings
    • 0.4mm nozzle
    • 0.20mm layer height
    • 15% infill
  • Filament: generic PETG
  • Supports: none
  • Brim: none

Print Instructions

  1. All files are pretty self-explanatory and should be aligned to print without supports.

Assembly Instructions

  1. I have written up a little PDF instruction document that walks you through the changes needed on your machine, so give it a read before printing anything out.

Model origin

The author remixed this model.

Differences of the remix compared to the original

Some of these files were created by me as modifications for the LumenPNP to support the use of the MakrZone Push-Pull feeders. The actual feeders themselves were created by Mark Maker (makrzone) and he documents them here: https://makr.zone/new-all-3d-printed-tapereel-feeder/399/

I have included STL copies of his feeders only because I slightly modified them to work with my LumenPNP and because OpenSCAD can be somewhat overwhelming for new users. I STRONGLY suggest you check out his source files so you understand how they work, but for convenience I've included the parameterized ones I personally use here.
