HFC152a Duster Gas Blowback Airsoft Adapter

Japanese gas blowback airsoft guns require use of duster gas, or HFC152a, for lower pressure. Adapters are hard to find, so make your own!  Works for Inland and Dust-off brand canisters. 

To assemble, simply print the adapter, cut a desired length of the tubes that are included with the cans, then insert the tube into this adapter, shown in the photos.  You will need to remove the original trigger off the duster can, exposing the white stem.  The adapter fits on top securely.  Super glue can be handy for any minute leaks.  Just dab some onto the base and the straw prior to fitting them together and to the can nozzle.

PLA, PC, or ASA is recommended, in order to get good air seal.  PETG surprisingly has poor layer adhesion compared to PLA and PC, so the gas will escape between layers  with PETG.  The liquid gas will rapidly freeze the adapter, so PC is recommended for better flexibility.  A .25 nozzle may offer better dimensional printing, but 0.4 is acceptable as well.  Scaling may be required for a snug, leak-free fit.

Duster gas, while low pressure and safer for the environment, is still unpleasant to get blasted in the face with, so take extreme care when making your adapter.
