The IKEA SYMFONISK remote is a great multifunctional zigbee remote for Homeassistant / Zigbee2MQTT. You can directly bind buttons to lights (on/off, level) or use buttons in Homeassistant for any other criteria.

Replacement Process

To better represent these functions, I designed replacement buttons, similar to my RODRET / SOMRIG replacement faceplate.

Buttons are just glued on and can be seperated with moderate force. My suggestion is replacing them one by one to aid in alignment. The +/- buttons seem a little bit more unstable, so I suggest starting with the minus and center buttons and then working your way around.

Please keep in mind, that the outer corners will be slightly higher than with stock buttons. This is due to the restrictions when printing face-down.

Slicing / Printing

You can reuse the prepared 3mf files with negative volume or MMU modifiers for your own symbols.
