UPDATE 1/16 -
Version 1.1 is unfortunately not a fit properly so a giant disclaimer that this model does not yet function as intended print at your own risk!
UPDATE 1/15/25
v1.1
I would have happily kept the hump that was causing the seating issue as I thought it quite stylish however, unfortunate weirdness in the geometry prevented from just smoothing the edges down in CAD so my quick solution was to remove it outright. Version 1.1 has an entirely flat bin floor other than the PS logo and grooves for the dualshock 4 itself. I was a big fan of the hump and thought it made the bin look more form fitting to the controller. If I figure out a solution it may return in later versions.

UPDATE 1/15/25 8:56AM CST - first prototype fit is a bust! stacking fits just fine but only without a controller in the bin as the corners of the rest just below the control sticks are too sharp therefore the controller does not seat all the way down and the control sticks protrude just above where they are supposed to. A fix is currently in the works

Needed a stackable storage bin style container for my dualshock 4's because the chaos of throwing them in a drawer was killing me and I'm personally not a fan of controller stands. This design is meant to fit well with and stack on other 3x4 bins I've found (vertical space utilization FTW) however, tweaks may be made in the future as this current design is untested in terms of fit on the controller and how well it stacks. All the same I hope my endeavors in finding an accurate model to base this design off of pays dividends in convenience for all.
.f3d file to come once I know I've Ironed out the kinks
