My print settings:

  • MK4 with MMU3
  • Prusament PETG Orange
  • 0.2 mm layers, 0.4 mm nozzle
  • 15% Gyroid infill, 3 perimeters
  • Connecting tab and corresponding roof of the rectangular hole in the other mount were printed with snug supports
  • Rails are printed upside down with snug supports in the screw holes

Other parts required:

  • (8) M3x8 socket-head screws to mount the rails to the enclosure lid
  • (6) M3x16 socket-head screws to fasten the mounts to the drybox underside and to connect the 2 pieces on each side together.

Enclosure lid portion has 2 rails with 4 angled tabs each - print these twice as the same rails are used on the left and right sides (rotated 180 degrees for the left side).  Mount the rails with the tabs towards the middle of the enclosure lid.

The mounts attached to the underside of the drybox are not reversible however - you must print all 4.  These attach to the 4 corner screw holes of the drybox, with the rails towards the centre.  Also connect the 2 mounts on each side with a screw that passes through the connecting tab/hole.

First 2 photos show the front 2 drybox positions.  The other 2 photos show the rails mounted on the enclosure lid (ignore the buffer - still working on that part), and the mounts attached to the underside of the drybox.

Update:  you may also be interested in this rear mount for the MMU3 buffer

Differences of the remix compared to the original

Separate rails attached to the drybox with angled tabs that allow easy mount/unmount of the drybox.
