There's 5 different sizes plus center support if needed see picture to understand where the dimensions are taken from. 

(file 00750 = ¾ inch)

(file 01000 = 1 inch)

(file 01250 = 1 ¼ inch)

(file 01500 = 1 ½ inch)

(file 01750 = 1 ¾ inch)

Fits any ½ round rod/tube.

Print settings: PLA, .3mm layers, 4 perimeters and 30% infill. This was plenty strong, but adjust for your person preference / use. Pretty much any material can be used for these.

Print one part as is and the other use the mirror function in your slicer to get the opposite.

You can use the “hold down” part to keep the wooden dowel from coming out. If it's a tight fit you might have to use the scale function in slicer to get it right on your printer. If you make it a press fit make sure you push it in all the way. You can print with a loose fit and just use some glue.

Holes are sized for #6 screws.
