Really easy to print and assemble, very useful little tool.
Printed in PETG

Thanks, that worked well.
Need to tighten some screws and get a second (long) 80mm M6 but looks nice, runs smooth and the STL worked great.
Thanks a lot to @GarageTimeDavid_3790 for the original model!
So cool. It's much cheaper than a bought one and I like it a lot, that I will be able to modify it, if I feel like I have needs that are not meet - or fix it.

Would you please share the updated hardware requirements?
this is from the original:
Required hardware:
- M8 x 20mm hex head bolt (2)
- M8 Nylock nut (2)
- 608 bearing (2)
- ¼-20 x 3in hex head bolt (2)
- ¼-20 nut (2)
Do I get it right that M8s and 608 stay the same. But the last two become M6?
(Also asked at the model you are remixing from - would be great to have it in the model description)
Thanks for sharing your modifications :)

Required hardware:
- M8 x 20mm hex head bolt (2)
- M8 Nylock nut (2)
- 608 bearing (2)
- M6 80mm hex head bolt (2)
- M6 nut (2)
with some considerations:
- M8 x 20mm hex head bolt (2) (the head can be whatever, doesn't need to be hex head)
- M8 Nylock nut (2)
- 608 bearing (2) (this doesn't need to be any special - but if you have options, maybe consider what works best for wet and dusty conditions as the will be in touch with the surface you sharpen with)
- M6 80mm hex head bolt (2) (the head can be something else - but you need to be able to loosen and tighten the bolt with the head - if you choose hex head, you can use the caps form the print and have a good mechanism. The first 36mm are within the body and don't necessary need a thread - as there are two options to put the object you want to sharpen you might get away with the first 50mm without thread.
- M6 nut (2)
Workes great, do you have a parametric model, or a step model of this? I would like to modify it to sharpen chisels with a shorter blade. I have several chisels where I can't make them to the correct angle because they need to be clamped at the tang of the blade.
