This is my first fully original 3D print design, inspired by @Dizi_202795's work. I wanted to start with something simple and refine it to near perfection, combining functionality with a satisfying tactile experience.
To assemble the fidget properly, you’ll need to pause the print before the cavities for the magnets are capped. This will allow you to insert the magnets into place.
For a more clicky and haptic feel, use 4mm x 2mm magnets. OR If you prefer a smoother, less clicky experience, opt for 5mm x 2mm magnets.
Insert the magnets (in a repeating pattern if you'd like (e.g., 4mm magnet, then 5mm magnet, and repeat)). Make sure to double-check the orientation of the magnets so the polarity aligns correctly—don’t worry, you’ll figure it out as you go.
Once the print is finished, simply insert the 608 bearing to make sure everything is together and you're all set!
The final design is compact at 1.5 inches wide and delivers an incredibly satisfying experience with its magnetic interactions and smooth 608 bearing. Spin, click, and enjoy the tactile feedback that makes this fidget both functional and fun.
I’d love to hear your thoughts! Try it for yourself. The pictures don't do it justice. Let me know if you have any suggestions, need different magnet sizes, or have ideas for improvements. Your feedback will inspire future designs.
Enjoy, and please leave a review—your support means a lot. More exciting and innovative models are on the way!
Thank you and happy printing!
