Stubby - Bit Tool

Description:

This bit tool is so compact that it can be used in the tightest corners. There’s never too little space for working with it. It is designed for a hex bit with a width of 6.3 mm (approximately 0.24 inches). According to Wikipedia, the standard size is slightly larger at 6.35 mm (1/4"), so this model may not fit standard bits. However, I’ve attached the Autodesk Fusion 360 file (.f3d) so you can adjust the size as needed.

Update (2025.02.13):

Added a version with a hole for a round 8 mm × 3 mm neodymium magnet. Now you can't lose a bit anymore.

Recommended print settings:

• Nozzle: 0.4
• Layers: 0.2
• No support
• Use variable layer height
• Use a cylinder modifier in the middle with more infill for higher stability
