3DBoaty is a 3D model designed for testing 3D printers. It's a small model, only taking 16.5 grams of material to print. There is also a scoresheet to measure how good your Boaty came out and compare it with others.

What the Boaty Tests:
Bed adhesion - Starting from just 6 small feet, good bed adhesion is a must for a successful print.
Overhangs - The arch in the 3 frames of the Boaty and the arch on the arms.
Bridging - Tests your bridging capabilities up to 25mm.
Top Surface Quality
Hole Precision
Max Flow
Small Details
And for an added challenge, speed. Test to see how fast you can print one. Sub 10 min Boaty?
Scoresheet: (Total 21 points)
Bed Adhesion (6 Points) - -1 point for every foot that loses contact with the bed. -6 points if you need to use a brim.
Bridging test 1 (5 points) - Check the underside of the Boaty, -1 point for every 1-3 loose strands. Like in the image. (EX: 4 loose strands is -2 points)
Bridging test 2 (2 points) - You should be able to clearly see through the gap on each side of the Boaty. -1 point for each side you can't see through.
Small Details (1 point) - You should be able to read the small text on the back clearly.
Hole Precision (2 points) - You should be able to fit 1.75mm filament through at least 2 of the holes on the back side of the Boaty. -1 point if you can't fit the filament through 2 holes. -2 If you can't fit filament through any holes.
Max Flow (1 Point) - If your max flow rate is too high, there will be a transition from matte to shiny going from yellow to green. -1 point if the transition is visibly noticeable.
Overhang test (3 points) - On the bottom of the Boaty there are 3 arches to test overhang performance. -1 point for every arch with drooping overhangs.
Top Surface test (1 point) - The seat of the Boaty should feel smooth to the touch. -1 if it is too rough. (over extrusion)
Speed Boaty Challenge:
The goal of this challenge is to see how fast you can print the Boaty while still resembling a Boaty. You can DM me here with your submission. I will only be keeping the top 5 entries.
