A font is used which is created with paths. Because of that, the line width is the same for every curve of the characters and can be set to any value. That makes is possible to create a stencil for a pen.
Two stencils are provided, one for a fineliner and one for a ball point. Each as a 3mf and as a stl file.
The source is a OpenSCAD script. With OpenSCAD it is possible to adjust the design.
OpenSCAD is free software: https://openscad.org/
The file “Numbers Stencil.scad” is the script for OpenSCAD. No other files are needed.
Use at least a 2025 version of OpenSCAD with the roof() function enabled. The script uses the roof() function, which did not exist in the 2021 version of OpenSCAD.
The newest version of the stencil font is in my library: https://github.com/Stone-Age-Sculptor/StoneAgeLib
Both the script for OpenSCAD and the resulting 3D models have the license CC0 (Public Domain).
The author marked this model as their own original creation.
