Is the reach of your drillpress to short, and are you strugeling to get perfectly perpendicular holes in the middle of a sheet of wood? This jig might not take you all the way to perfect hole, but it will at least make it a lot easier to make it somewhat perpendicular!
The main idea with the design is to use cheap bearings as the contact surface with the drill. There is not a direct need for the bearing functionality, but it is a cheap way to get hardened metal on metal surface that will last, the spinning is just a bonus.
Designed to work with metric forstner bits that has 8mm (608 bearing) and 10mm (6000 bearing) shanks.
I printed mine in PETG, 0.2mm layer height, 0.4mm nozzle 4 perimiters, 15% infill and automatic tree supports.
Supports is required for the overhang that holds the bearings!
