K1/K1C/K1 Max Magnetic Toolhead Cover - 5015 Fan

Please Read thoroughly as I've made some changes to the original file, and provided suggestion on the magnet grade to use.

Credit to ManofMysteryInt for the idea of adapting the magnetic toolhead to the K1 series! 

I first started using his files but then wanted to upgrade the part cooling fan to a 5015 for superior cooling and lesser noise. 

I then referred to Stanislau Shchahliak's 5015 3D file (and countless others) to find the best fitting design. You should definitely check out his very detailed steps on how to install a 5015 fan on your K1/K1C/K1 Max, you'll need a MOSFET and some soldering skills! NOTE: instead of how he puts his heat insert on 1 side each, my design needs to have both the heat inserts being on the same side. (sorry this photo is from his guide, I didn't take a photo of my fan.) 

I had to start designing it from scratch in Fusion360, copying the original design, while also referring to other 5015 mods thats been done by the community. If you notice, the file name is v34—that's how many versions and iterations I’ve gone through while figuring things out in CAD since I’m still pretty new to it. I’ve learned a ton along the way and finally landed on this design. I’ve also included the v25 files, which was my earlier version that I used for 4+months. I switched to v34 because the vents on v25 sat a bit lower than I liked. They didn’t cause any problems during printing, but I prefer v34’s lower-profile vents. It lets me see the print head better while printing or doing nozzle changes, and it’s easier to spot extrusion issues, clogs, and stuff like that.

Note: as ManofMysteryInt posted on his make, Disclaimer: This model has the potential to harm your system. Whereas the Bambu printer has a built in sensor to monitor if the magnetic toolhead cover comes off, the K1 series of course does not. If your magnetic cover comes off during a print, it is impossible to say what harm could come to your machine. Use at your own risk!

So I used strong N52 magnets (6mm x 3mm), so the front cover stays firmly attached to the back, I never had it detached mid print. If you can, get N52s; they’re the strongest consumer-grade magnets out there. magnets grades. Do not go for weaker magnets or you might risk damaging your printer.

If it isn't obvious, Please print in high temp filaments (ASA / ABS / PA-CF) as you wouldn't want it to soften up during printing. But hey if you're up to this level of modding, I think you know what you're doing.

My printing parameters: 

• 0.4 nozzle (or smaller nozzle, NOT 0.6 or 0.8)
• 0.2 layer height (or lower is better, 0.1)
• 3 to 5 walls+top+bottom
• 15% infill (doesn't matter much as only small area uses infill)

PS: This is no longer an active project of mine, if/when I encounter any issues in the future, I'll probably upload another iteration. Let me know if you faced any issues yourself, I'll look into it when I have the time. Please feel free to remix this and share with others.
