Model:
LED strip mounts for a bathroom mirror cabinet with a box to store remaining cables and the light switches. Depending on your cabinet/use case some adaption of the .stp files will be necessary.
The led strips give a nice lighting, as the initial lighting for this bathroom was pretty sparse.
You will need (for both sides):
-2x led_holder_top
-2x led_holder_middle
-2x led_holder_bottom
-2x led_mount_holder_bottom
-4x hinge_led_side
-4x hinge_mirror_side
-1x box_part_1
-1x box_part_2
-1x box_reiforcement_outside
-1x box_reiforcement_inside
-6x box_pins
Construction:
-It should be pretty self-explanatory
-Everything can be stuck/clipped together
-Then you can fold the strip in the middle, remove the protection of the adhesive tape and place them on the holder
-I used the pre-drilled holes for the shelf plates in the cabinet and drilled them to the outside
-The holes have a 5mm diameter and a distance of 32mm between each other. Depending on your cabinet you will have to adapt the .stp files.
-The box fits the light switches and remaining cables, just stuff them in there. The pins will connect both parts and the box itself to the cabinet, again with the pre-drilled holes in the cabinet.
(I believe the mirror cabinet is an older version of the IKEA TREASJÖN)
Printing:
-no special settings needed
-I recommend organic supports where necessary, e.g. the hinges
-I printed all parts on a Prusa Mini with 0.2mm layer height, 3 perimeters and 15%ish infill. Some more infill is probably better/makes the build more sturdy.
