Thank you @CharlieEssers for the design compatible with the PrusaMini buildplate. These make perfect gifts for friends, but we weren't satisfied with the quality of the letters we were getting.
So with this remix we are adding the face plate as a DXF contour so it can be laser-cut out of Plywood (we used 3 mm thick basswood for the ones in the pictures).
A laser-friendly version of the sliders is also included, with some 3D-printable pins that you can press fit into them.
There's also an optional frame that you can add on top of the laser-cut front plate in case you accidentally burn one of the side edges and need to hide it like we did (not shown in the photos).
Use the main body from the original design.
The author remixed this model.
Remodeled the faceplate as a DXF file so it can be cut on a laser machine. The plate is blank, so you can write whatever you prefer in the software you use for your laser machine (Lightburn, for example).
The sliders can also be cut and engraved with a laser machine, and used with the included pins that you can press-fit into them.
