Mainframe z16 - 5 part model

A remix of a Mainframe z16 model in Fashion scale/Barbie 1:6 size with scaling at 327.84%. 

Size (HxWxD) approx.  35,6cm x 11,4cm x 22,2cm

Remix differences

1. The model is cut into 4 pieces with assembly joints for M3 threaded inserts
2. The model has a sliding lid (part 5) so the design can be used for storage
3. Fixed the two huge overhangs on the inner sides at the bottom

🚨 Important info before you take on this model 🚨

Make sure your printers are finely tuned and vibration free.
I recommend placing the printers on 4mm bitumen/resonance plates.
I recommend using glue stick at all times for this print. 
I can recommend Elmer's disappearing purple glue sticks. 

Tools for assembly

12x M3x5 Stainless Steel Hex Socket Bolts
12x M3 Threaded Inserts Short
Soldering iron with M3 Threaded Insert tip
3mm drill for brim removal in the 12 holes
Exacto knife or similar for trimming the brims at the inner edges
Tamiya ABS Glue or similar for the logos

Print settings

Nozzle size 0.6
Layer height 0.32 Structural
Infill Grid 20%

Skirt and brim 

Brim type > Inner brim only 
Brim width > 50mm

Note: you might get away with a brim of 30mm and save approx. 4 minutes on the part

Advanced

Slicing > Elephant foot compensation: 0.5mm

Build plate

Parts 1 (bottom) and 5 (lid): Textured Steel Sheet
Parts 2, 3, and 4: Smooth PEI Steel Sheet
