I really liked the design of the driver, but it was designed for 4mm bits and the ratcheting mechanism was poor when scaled up.
This driver is completely static and does not have a ratchet any more. The inside is a hollow shell which can store bits up to 6 bits about 40mm length in the screw cap.
Printed at 0.2, 3 walls, 50% infill, NO supports needed. The shaft can be printed on either end without supports, but I recommend on it's top end unless you have really bad adhesion problems.
I have included the Fusion file if you want to play around with the model but just know that it's mostly a brute forced edit of the STL, I'm no expert at remastering CAD files.
Currently testing the model for clearance issues but everything seems to work so far. Just note that your printer needs to be very dimensionally accurate for these clearances to hold your bits.
The author remixed this model.
