Quick remix of the model by nullpointer.

I wanted to take advantage of the excellent ironing feature to give a smooth finish. To do this, I wanted to print the other way up. This posed some issues, as the stem is longer than the side walls of the keycap. Also, the stem didn't have a very firm grip on the switch, and I was concerned it would break.

This model aligns the stem and the bottom walls of the keycap to enable printing upright. Also, I added a perimeter around the MX switch stem to ensure it has a good grip on the switch.

I used Bambu Matte Blue PLA - if you want the LED to shine through, use transparent filament.

Print Settings
  • Layer height is up to you, I used 0.08mm
  • Avoid crossing walls
  • No supports
  • No brim
  • Arachne walls (this avoids the use of infill in the sides, instead it thickens the walls of the print - this speeds up print time and increases accuracy and strength).

I tried to include a gcode file, but Printables takes issue with some of the settings provided by Bambu Studio.
