Furniture Legs for IKEA Alex Drawers or other furniture

I made these furniture legs to go on my IKEA Alex drawers (ALEX drawer unit, black-brown, 141/8x271/2" - IKEA)  so that they are the same height as my Alex desk (ALEX desk, black-brown, 52x227/8" - IKEA).  They line up with the IKEA Alex screw pattern.  However, there's no reason that these couldn't be used on other furniture if you squared them up with the edges.

I made mine at 2.5 inches then realized it was about 0.25 inches short, so I made a 2.75-inch version, but posted the 2.5-inch version anyway in case anyone wants that.

I used four 0.75-inch #6 self-tapping Philips head screws for each foot. I also attached felt furniture sliders to the feet (I did this for the desk too, so it shouldn't affect the height).  I used these in place of the tiny feet that it came with or the optional casters.
