REEFSCAPE Branch Connnectors

EDIT: 1/13/25 - Pipe lengths were incorrect leading to the final assembly being too tall. Updated the cut list and instructions to reflect the correct lengths.

Connectors for PVC (1.25 in) pipe to model the REEF field elements for the 2025 FRC competition.

Print Suggestion

• 3+ walls for strength
• No supports
• Print 2x of each part per branch

Pipe cut list

• 1x 54 ½" (53 ¾" for the standard field elements)
  • Note: the full measurment is from the carpet. Adjust the length of the tube according to your assembly.
• 3x 10"
• 1x 7 ½"

Assembly instructions

• Assemble the top connectors with a single 10-32 bolt through each
• On the long pipe, mark lines at 10 5/8" and 26 ½" from the top of the pipe 
• Using 10-32 through bolts, clamp the bottom connectors around the the long pipe
  • The top of each connector should line up with the marked lines
• Attach a top connector to the top of the long pipe
  • Note: the ^ on the connector should point up
• Attach all 3 10" sections to the diagonals
• Attach the final top connector 
  • Note: the v should point down
• Secure all connectors with wood screws or through bolts as desired
