Typically when my watch band breaks, it's the strap or the spring pin.  This time the body of the watch itself cracked and replacing the band was impossible.  So I made a single piece shell and band that holds the watch body against my wrist.

TPU was the obvious choice.  I had good results with NinjaTek and Inland.  This specific project was done with Inland cleear TPU.  I made the pin from Inland Natural Nylon.  I've experienced various pin designs that would occasionally pull through the wrong band, so I added a recess in the underside of the band and a disc on the bottom of the pin to make is much more secure.

I found that layer height was not super important in the band, but the more detail the pin has, the better.
