This is a variant of my model v2.0, https://www.printables.com/model/1083785-robot-hand-v2 but the print in place wheels have been replaced by locks printed separately. Goal: easier print that will work with any filament.
Print 16 locks and push them into the finger joints. There are 3 positions: start with the deep groove and later use more shallow grooves if you need to restore a stronger grip. You have 2 tools to help you push the locks into place (see photos). Start insertion half way with push-in-01, then finish it with push-in-02. You must push pretty hard, but it is quite fast when you get used to it. You can also press the locks in with plyers if you prefer, but you may slighlty damage the surface in the process, and the locks will not be exactly centered.
You have 2 more tools to push the locks out if you need to change the groove.
I also added a version with a handle in line with the hand.
