Strap printed from TPU.
i have found 85A TPU to work the best in cold temperatures.
the more rigid 95A or similar TPU also work but gets stiff in sub-zero temperatures.
the buckle i have printed in PC with sucess. In my oppinion any though material woudl work fine as long as multiple shells and top/bottom layers are used. i have printed the buckel in multiple orientations with similar performance.
The holes in the strap are ovalized and there is an indentaion inbetween each hole, the indentation is to reduce strain in thebetween each hole when the strap is in tension. This appears to help better destribute the load and reduce stress in the material. Also looks cooler.
for best results wiht 85A tpu, reduce print speeds to 20mm/s and set retraction to 0.7 for bambu printers or 7mm for prusa printrs. also dry filament before printing:)
have fun!
