The lid of my temporary hamster cage did not fit right because the hamsterwheel was too big. I designed this frame so the lid could be mounted higher up. Additionally, it is a tighter fit now and escaping is now not an option anymore. 

→ Designed for glass aquariums with a glass thickness of approximately 6mm. The particular dimensions of this model was made for an aquarium with the dimensions 80x35 (L x W) mm

→ Some aquariums have two struts along the sides. The corner pieces can be shortened or elongated to account for those.

→ The corner pieces are hollow to account for any manufacturing error of the aquarium (uneven corners, glue or silicon residue)

→ The model raises the lid by 3 cm. Feel free to adjust. 

Recommended Printing settings

Print with 0.4mm nozzle. Infill 10%, 0.2mm, speed.
