Description

AVAILABLE FOR COMMERCIAL RESALE WITH TIER 2 - V2 FRAME ONLY

A Night in Paris uses 8 colors. AMS/MMU not needed. Manual filament swaps can easily be done with pauses. This model will only be available to club members.

I have included 3 different 3MF files for Bambu Studio. Please read all the instructions carefully.

For 1 AMS - This one is pretty easy to print with 1 AMS. The 8 colors are all sequential and do no repeat. Use the Pro-Tip and color/spool assignments in the chart below or just pay attention and swap spools after they finish.

For 2 AMS units - Just load and assign the colors in order and print.

For  NO AMS - pauses already set (manual color changes).  Just go in the order below.

Pro Tip: If you are using more colors than you have AMS units you can manually unload the last spool after the print starts. This will force a pause when this spool is eventually called up for duty. The pause will be forced if any spool is not present when called for so in this case you can just un-feed spool 4. When it pauses swap out colors 1-3 with 5-7 resume and when color 4 finishes swap it out with color 8. With different models it may make sense to force the pause in other AMS slot[s] depending on the color swap order.

If you do not have Bambu Studio/Orca I recommend using it to look through the settings and copying them to make a Hueforge profile template for yourself in your slicer of choice so that future prints will be quick.

If you have any questions about printing this hit me up.

AMS SLOT GUIDE: The model colors will go in and be assigned to the following slots depending how many AMS units you have.

MODEL COLOR - [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6] [7] [8]

1 AMS - SLOT —-  [1] [2] [3] [4][1] [2] [3] [4]

2 AMS - SLOT --- [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6] [7] [8]

Print at 100% infill with a layer height of 0.08mm with a base layer of 0.16mm. The profiles have a height modifier to print the first 0.64mm @ 0.16 layer height as that is the min depth/non blended portion of the base color. If you use a different slicer set all your color changes before doing the modifier as it changes the amount of layers. This shaves off approximately half an hour of print time. As with all Hueforges if you scale the model DO NOT change the Z dimension. If you substitute filaments results will vary. If you have Hueforge you can import the STL and see how substituted filaments will change the outcome before printing. If you have questions hit me up.

I use the TD-1 to measure my filament opacity which is why you see the names I have assigned to them in Hueforge. This gives me an accurate prediction. Filament TD can vary from brand to brand and even from spool to spool. If you want to measure you own for accurate predictions in Hueforge check out MY WEBSITE where I have official TD-1 units for sale.
