    Same as the upstream part, but moves the touch probe mount 2.5mm to the right

    Tested working with the mS_Neptune_Dual_4010_1.0.stl from the mini satsana model

    Updates to the original part's docs:
    This mount has offset of X is 48.75 and offset of Y is 0.
    You can setting up your printer by using elegoo.txt lines below and ELEGOO's standard procedure.

    When using this part as a mount, my touch probe would extend quite a bit past the nozzle, but wouldn't trigger until after the nozzle crashed into the build platform.

    I tested with a stack of post-it notes what additional Z-offset the probe would need to trigger properly and it seemed that between 1-2mm would be sufficient.

    I've had similar problems with other touch probe mounts, It's probably that my probe works slightly differently than others.

    I used meshmixer to cut up the upstream model into a 1mm slice.

    You can use a similar process, then scale this part (it's 1mm thich) in the Z axis to produce a shim that's ideal for your use.

Print settings:

  • material: PLA
  • layer height: 0.2mm
  • wall thickness: 1.2mm
  • top/bottom thickness: 1mm
  • infill density: 25%
  • infill pattern: cubic
