[OEGB] NEMA 17 Stepper-Motor-Gearbox 1:3 Print-In-Place

Planetary gearbox for NEMA 17 stepper motor. 36 teeth on the hollow gear, 12 teeth on planetary and sun gear, resulting 1:3 reduction. Changes and additions may be made later on.

Print information:

The model mostly uses clearances of 0.2mm, your printer should be able to realize those. Friction and play may vary on print. When slicing check whether the slicer merges lines from the planetary gears to the hollow gear.

Only the Nema17_Gearbox_PiP and Nema17_Gearbox_Spacer .stls are for printing. The other parts are supplied to enable modding if necessary, they are already incorporated in the PiP. Due to herringbone gears, this can not be assembled or disassembled after printing.

After printing, the gearbox might be stuck. Screw in M3 screws into 2 of the holes in the front and apply a little torque or wiggle to break the gears loose.
