Extra parts needed:

2x nema 17 steppers (~40mm for example 17HE15-1504S)
3x extra stepper drivers [2 for y(can be combined on 1 driver) 1 for the second extruder]
2x lm8uu 45mm linear bearings for the second carriage
4x F695 bearings for the y idler(toothed idler should work as well)
8x f623 bearings to route the belt on the motor plate
1x hotend
1x extruder
2x d2f-l endstop (y is sensorless)
4x m2x10 self tapping screws to mount endstop
M3x5x4 inserts
m3 and m5 screws

Offset calibration print i used:

https://www.printables.com/model/129617-offset-xy-dual-extruder-idex-calibration

if you try to home y and the x axis moves you may need to change the hybrid-corexy movement python script. i followed the steps here:
https://klipper.discourse.group/t/problem-hybrid-corexy-kinematic/13184/7

Where i got my macros for the IDEX functionality from:
https://github.com/zruncho3d/double-dragon/blob/main/Config/Octopus/Tri-Zero%2B2xHuvud/printer.cfg

Known issues:

y belt tensioning loses some y travel
the ebb42 mount loses some y travel
cat cowl db hits the front corner (normal one gets a few more mm travel in y)
(mine gets 160mm in y due to this)

if you have any question ping me on the rolohaun discord i will try to answer them
