I want to replace my regular light switch with a Tuya smart switch. Since I prefer not to bridge the old switch permanently, I decided to use a cover and attach the smart switch to it instead. During my search for a suitable model, I came across the original design. However, it didn’t align perfectly with the switch series in my home, so I made some modifications to better suit my needs.
Print recommendations:
How to install? (copied from the original model)
You have to remove the covers of the Busch Jaeger switch and get the clip part off the switchplate, mount the clip in the printed base and place it on the base in the wall.
Stick the Tuya switch on the mountbase.
The author remixed this model.
I made slight modifications to the clip mount to ensure it fits the newer clip versions. Additionally, I increased the height of the cover to accommodate the size of the Balance SI series.
