These are some prototypes of pinky rests I have been working on for my Logitech MX Master 2S mouse. I love this mouse but I hate my pinky slipping down and dragging on the mouse pad. These have the dual purpose of preventing pinky slip and the texture gives a bit more control over fine movements which is great for CAD work. Though I 3D scanned the mouse and sculpted the back of the rest to fit its curve, the curve is pretty minimal so they could be used on nearly any mouse. I just attach them with double sided tape that can be removed to swap them out. They work great but I am still working on refining the shape, so I will probably be adding a few more here.
I printed on a resin printer but any FDM printer will do as well with a very small layer height.
There are 3 versions now. The pictures of the mouse show the medium one mounted to the mouse and the small shelf one on the side.
1 - PinkyRest_small shelf - this one is just a small bump, I liked it but found my pinky was still slipping off occasionally
2 - PinkyRest_medium shelf - This one has a bit more shelf space and less bump. I am using it now and I like it but will probably try a bit bigger one in the future.
3 - PinkyRest_small shelf smooth - same as the first one but with no gripping ribs, this one was just a test piece but someone might want it if they want to add their own grip design.
