ps5 coolingdevice

Hi! I’ve created a cooling device for my TV stand to prevent my PS5 from overheating. It might be a bit of an over-the-top solution, but for those who don’t like keeping the cabinet door open, this is a perfect fix!

I bought the fans on Amazon for about 150 SEK and connected them to the USB ports on the back of the PS5.

TIP if you want to get mot speed you can use a potentiomenter with a powersuplt of 12v and adjust fan speed with that,. i used a old powerbrick to a laptop to get 19v in to the potentiometer and adjusted it to a higher speed, and as a bonus you can use a smart plug to controll on off :)

its 120mm fans, press fitt, i think anny 120 will fit this!! 

the hole is 75 mill. i used a 76 mill hole saw, that was the most standard size i found, 
if its to small just print a sleave that fits over my design, :) 
 

i got the ambient temp in the cabinet down from 62c to 23 as my room temp.
