Bill of Materials

  • 1 Hex Bolt M5x30
  • 2 Hex Bolts M3x25
  • 1 M5 Heat-set Insert (10mm long recommended)
  • 2 M3 Heat-set Insert (8mm long recommended)
  • 1 M5 Washer
  • 2 M3 Washer
  • Box-cutter Blade

Printed Objects

  • 1 Base
  • 2 Handle (one should be mirrored)
  • 1 Inner Jaw
  • 1 Outer Jaw
  • 2 Knob DC16x10-M3hT
  • 1 Knob DC20x10-M5hT

Instructions

  1. set the M5 insert into the hole in the Base part
  2. set the M3 inserts into the holes in the Inner Jaw part
  3. Push the bolts through their respective knobs - might be best to put glue on the heads and push them through the knob prints
  4. Glue the Handles onto the Base
  5. Thread the M5 knob assembly through the slot in the Inner Jaw and screw it into the insert on the Base
  6. Thread the M3 knob assemblies through the holes in the Outer Jaw into the threads in the Inner Jaw, sandwiching the box cutter blade.
