This way you customize the last Dettol/Sagrotan refill unit you'd be buying, into a truly unlimited refill. Also, you reduce plastic waste in long term. You can then freely refill it with any of the liquid soaps that you would buy in bulk quantities.
I improved my previous design, making a cap with beads, so that it stays in place. It's not a screw cap.
I have designed three variants of the cap.
- The normal variant is loose, but if you accidentally drop the No Touch the cap may easily come off.
- The tight variant has its beads slightly wider. This fill feel a little difficult to open and close in the beginning.
- Tight variant with air vents is the same as above, but I created two air vents with 1.5 mm diameter each, so it might feel a little easier to open and close.
I have included pictures but you can't really see much of the difference using a vernier caliper with 0.02 mm resolution.
Things you need:
- Your 3D printer and filament
- A precision knife and safety gloves
- Epoxy glue and a toothpick
Recommendations for printing:
- 0.2 mm layer thickness with 0.4 mm nozzle is enough. (standard quality)
- Base: infill density ~ 10% - 20%, with normal supports and brim type adhesion
- Cap: infill density = 5%, no supports and brim type adhesion
Instructions for use:
- Clean the refill unit and make sure the surface is dry.
- Cut an ellipse off the top of the refill unit without damaging the edge. It must be about 30 mm wide from the center.
- Maybe it's a good idea to draw small ‘x’-es with your precision knife to make the glossy surface of the refill unit, so that it's roughened for epoxy glue.
- Glue the printed base onto the refill unit.
- Enjoy the liberty!
Much thanks to the original creator @Hubi for creating a perfectly fitting cover.

The author remixed this model.
Differences of the remix compared to the original
I created a simple opening and a cap similar to a bottle cap, so that the unit can be refilled with any liquid soap that you buy in large quantities. In comparison to the previous similar model I made, this bottle cap is better with beads.
