These models will allow you to print dice and game pieces for a fun Viking game known as Daldos. I did them in PLA.
You need 32 game pieces (16 in two different colors). You need two dice also included. You might want paint the inside of the numbers on the die to make it easier to see. Or you can use a set of tetrahedral 4-sided dice to play.
I made the board out of wood, it will have 17 holes down the middle using a 3/8 " drill bit (I used a forstener to keep it flat) at 1/4 “ deep. Then you will drill 16 holes on each side, all holes should have a center-center spacing of 5/8 ” to allow characters to move. The photo shows two different boards I made, go simple or have fun!
The author remixed this model.
Altered dimensions from the original and make the back flat; also added the bottom cylinder to allow it fit into the game board.
To the original maker of the viking sculpture @printical ; cool work thanks for being open to the remix! Make the game and play, it's FUN!
