After hours of scouring the internet for a glass lid riser for the Creality K1 Max that interlocks with the frame, with sides and corners locking together, I decided to design my own!

The goal was to create a lid riser that securely attaches to the K1 Max frame, with sides and corners that interlock, further increasing the stability of the riser frame and ensuring no rattling when the printer is running. The riser provides an exact 30 mm rise for the glass top cover—the perfect height to ensure the PTFE tube isn't bent, promoting consistent filament flow. This setup works flawlessly with the Creality K1/K1 Max PTFE tube guide by @brucemoore, and I haven’t encountered any issues! As of Dec 30, 2024, my riser is printed in Creality HS PLA, and I haven’t seen any warping. However, I recommend printing in PETG or a higher-temperature-resistant filament to ensure longevity, especially if you plan to print with a high-temp bed for stronger filaments.

I am a huge believer in open-source and ease of access, so I'll be posting the FreeCAD files on my GitHub. Feel free to modify the files in any way that meets your needs and posting them to Printables! :)
