8-Ball Drill Jig/Clamp

I made this for my Dad who wanted to drill and tap a 8-Ball to use as a cane head but was having difficulty holding onto the ball. This utilizes a simple clamshell design with a cavity sized for 2 ¼ inch diameter (American style) Billiard or Pool balls. The bottom has recessed pockets to house 7/16" nuts. It is held together using 3" ¼-20 shoulder bolts.

This particular iteration was printed with PLA+ with 10 walls and 100% infill, and printed flats down so as to eliminate the need for supports.
