Description

Commercially available bit holder attachments for the DeWalt belt clip screw/rails proved to be disappointing, holding a maximum of 3 larger/6 small bits per side with a still relatively high profile, and taking away the ability to stand the tool on its base while the battery is removed.

This attachment is specific to DeWalt brand since it symetrically hugs the rubber rails on both sides, and uses both screws (I recommend a standard M3 x 10mm hex/allen screw instead of the philips provided https://amzn.to/42ltgbb ).

This prints well in PETG/PLA/ABS, standing up, with supports (on build plate only), and an 8 mm outer brim (0.03 brim-object gap). For DeWalt yellow color match, I recommend Hatchbox Dark Yellow PETG/PLA https://amzn.to/4a1wHG6

”First order retrievability" refers to an organizational philosophy, most commonly associated with Adam Savage https://adamsavage.com https://tested.com , where any necessary item can be accessed directly without having to move another item first, prioritizing immediate and effortless access to tools or information.

Design humbly dedicated to my girlfriend, who gifted me the DeWalt power tool set and continues to be the most inspiring partner I could ever hope for I love you Lisa
