--------------------2025.01.17 Update----------------------------

I want to apologize to @MDFPereira for my criticizing his attribution to the BTT repo. To my defense and clarification from @MDFPereira, it seems the mounts on the repo are for non-Volcano style hotends but aren't mentioned in the repo description/filename.

If you use the non-volcano style hotend, and don't need the adjustability, you can still use the mount from repo.

---------------------------------------------------------------------

A simple mount for mounting BTT eddy on the Ratrig EVA 3 ecosystem, with adjustable heights.

The mount has come up because of the misleading EVA mounts in the official repo. These mounts lift the probe too high, guaranteeing a failure in calibration.

Directly replaces the existing probe mount and reuses the original mounting holes.

To mount the probe, you only need:

  1. 2x M3x8 Cap Head Screw(From existing mounts)
  2. 2x M3x25 Cap Head Screw(From the BTT eddy accessory)
  3. 2x M3N Nut(You may find some from the leftover of the printer assembly, or prepare your own)

The included photos show the assembled looks, which you can use as a reference.

Before tightening the BTT eddy to the mounts, MAKE SURE that the probe is 2~3mm higher than the nozzle. (Thanks @EODesigns from Ratrig community discord, for saving my misery on installing on my own printer)

I am currently testing it on the EVA 3 with a Phaetus Rapido 2 hotend. Although I made the probe mount compatible with the LJ8 probe mount, I do not guarantee compatibility with other hotends. USE CAUTIONS.

To make life easier, the XY offsets are measured below; you can use them as a starting point to do the probe XY offsets.
