DSO Olla (Ollita) lid for drip irrigation

Lid for Dripping Springs Ollas (DSO) Ollita model.

I made this to fit 1/4"(6mm) drip tubing, so it can be filled automatically. A drip emitter should be used to reduce flow to prevent overflow. Tubing fits tightly, this is intentional. Made to fit a 60mm inside opening. Overall diameter is 83mm, will print easily on small printers.

• An Olla is an ancient method of watering plants in arid zones. Unglazed terra-cotta bottles are buried to the neck between the plants and kept filled with water. The water slowly seeps through the bottle, keeping the area damp without the water draining away. Dramatically reduces water usage, and is good for the plants.
